Your mission

• The Business Analyst is responsible for translating business needs into requirements for product/IT but also other relevant teams to execute.
• The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, documenting and communicating requirements for complex projects in order to reduce  missed requirements and rework in rollout, and improve the quality of delivered product.
• As such, the Business Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring projects deliver value, meet stakeholder expectations and align with the goals of the eCommerce organization at Miele.

Key responsibilities:

• You are supremely skilled at gathering, analysing and defining requirements for eCommerce features, processes and optimizations. You facilitate requirement sessions, ask the right probing questions, think of alternatives and coach your stakeholders into truly understanding their needs and requirements. 
• Guiding colleagues and stakeholders into articulating their priorities and defining scope for an agile delivery approach is your bread and butter, and you are able to create clear, comprehensive and cohesive scope documentation from these inputs.
• You have a business mindset and are able to bridge business desires with technical concepts. You are eager to understand the business and connect with the VG‘s and other relevant teams to understand busines logic and dynamics.
• Portfolio Development Managers come to you help define requirements and business cases for complex and conceptual new initiatives.
• Become a consultant to the delivery teams (in both product development and running business domains), to help the delivery teams understand requirements, answer questions, find missing information, and spar about solutions as and when needed.
• Test the designed/ delivered solution to ensure adherence to defined requirements. You take pride in the quality of our solutions.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, Portfolio Development Managers, as well as Performance managers, able to orient yourself in a technical discussion as much as a business-focused discussion. 
• You manage stakeholders‘ expectations and foster a collaborative environment in requirement definition. 

What success will look like in two years:

• Business analysis has improved speed and quality of delivery (exact KPI TBC).
• Missed requirements in BA-led projects are reduced by at least 50%.
• Rollout are 30% faster thanks to minimal rework and scope creep between markets.
• Business analysis is an integral and highly valued function in complex initiatives.

Key performance measures for position:

• Quality of requirements (percentage of missed or incorrect requirements).
• Change request rate.
• Stakeholder satisfaction.

Competencies/Skills for position:

• 4+ years experience as a business analyst in product development setting.
• Bachelor‘s degree in a business or technology field.
• Research and analysis skillset, outstanding problem-solving & critical thinking capabilities.
• Strong eCommerce domain knowledge is a must.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Jira & Confluence and Miro.
• Ability to write clear user stories, ideally in BDD.
